About PensionPlans.ie
We believe everyone in Ireland deserves clear, honest information about pensions — without the jargon, without the sales pitch, and without needing a financial degree to understand it.
Irish-Founded, Irish-Based
PensionPlans.ie was built in Ireland, for Irish people. We understand the Irish pension system because we live in it. We deal with the same PRSAs, the same Revenue rules, and the same providers as you do.
Fully Independent
We are not owned by, affiliated with, or funded by any pension provider, bank, or financial institution. When we compare providers, we have no horse in the race. Our only goal is to give you accurate, useful information.
Information Only — Not Financial Advice
We provide educational content, calculators, and comparisons to help you understand your options. We do not provide regulated financial advice, do not recommend specific products, and do not sell pensions. For personalised advice, you should speak to a qualified financial advisor regulated by the Central Bank of Ireland.
Your Data Stays in Ireland
Our calculators run entirely in your browser — your salary, age, and pension details never leave your device. We don't collect personal financial data. Any data we do store (like anonymous analytics) is processed within the EU in full compliance with GDPR.
GDPR Compliant
We take data protection seriously. We use minimal cookies, don't sell or share user data, and comply fully with the EU General Data Protection Regulation. You can use our calculators and read our guides without giving us any personal information.
Our Mission
Too many people in Ireland are under-saving for retirement — often simply because they don't understand pensions. We want to fix that by making pension information accessible, jargon-free, and actually useful. If this site helps one more person start a pension or increase their contributions, we've done our job.
